Abstract: The innovation of channel coding technology haspromoted the upgrading of mobile communication, andmathematics has played an important role in the study of channelcoding theory.In this talk, I will introduce the roles of Graphtheoretical methods in coding theory and our recent advances incoding theoryresearch.

闫桂英，本硕博毕业于山东大学数学系。现为中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院研究员、中国科学院大学教授、博士生导师，中国科学院国家数学与交叉科学中心副主任，中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院图论组合与网络研究中心主任;中国工业与应用数学学会(CSIAM)副理事长，中国运筹学会常务理事。主要研究领域为图网络理论及应用。
